ABOUT BMA

BOH MANYU ASSOCIATION is a legally recognized socio-cultural, development-oriented, apolitical association that has as its mission to unite and empower sons and daughters from Manyu Division in all spheres of lives.

It was created on 19th September, 2019.

It was officially legalized on 31st January, 2020 in Douala.

It runs with official legalization No. 299/2020/L/C19/SAAJP of 31/01/2020.

The motto of the association is “With Unity, Love & Solidarity, Progress is A Must”.

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES

I. To enhance the cultural legacy and improve upon our cultural heritage of living together with love and hospitality.

II. To encourage the spirit of peace, unity, loyalty, cooperation and collective responsibility at all levels within the Association.

III. To participate in the Socio-economic Development of Manyu division through income generating activities.

IV. To promote social solidarity within members and also provide basic assistance in time of need in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND MEETINGS

BMA has general assembly meetings 4 times a year. These meetings hold mostly in Douala except for safari meetings, which hold where majority of the members decide based on a voting system.

BMA has had 7 general assembly meetings since its creation.

Most discussions happen in the BMA whatsapp group.

Below are the things you need to know before deciding to join the whatsapp group.

1. Membership is open to ALL sons and daughters from Manyu division.
2. All members MUST 21 years of age and above.
3. An annual membership registration fee of 2,000 FCFA is compulsory. This fee is paid to the treasure before been added to the whatsapp group.
4. An annual project fund fee of 5,000 FCFA is compulsory and it is to be paid alongside the annual membership registration fee of 2,000 FCFA.
5. Only members in the whatsapp group are recognized as valid members of the association.
6. Rules, guidelines and benefits apply ONLY to members in the whatsapp group.
