BOH MANYU ASSOCIATION (BMA)
Hello brothers and sisters, welcome to BOH MANYU ASSOCIATION (BMA).
BOH MANYU ASSOCIATION is a legally recognized socio-cultural, development-oriented, apolitical association that has as its mission to unite and empower sons and daughters from Manyu Division in all spheres of lives.
BMA was created on 19th September, 2019.
BMA was officially legalized on 31st January, 2020 in Douala.
BMA runs with official legalization No. 299/2020/L/C19/SAAJP of 31/01/2020.
The motto of the association is “With Unity, Love & Solidarity, Progress is A Must”
OUR LOGO
The logo of the association consist of the following:
Sunshine; Manyu division is a land of sunshine meaning it is blessed with all the good things directly from God.
Green Lines; The green lines refer to the abundant resources provided to us by Mother Nature.
Heart-in-hands; The heart-in-hands signifies, all sons and daughters from Manyu division support each other from deep inside the heart. They do not only support but they support you to even carry your heart and the heart is the light of the human body.
THE EXCO COMMITTEE
BMA has a functioning EXCO committee. Since its creation, BMA has had two EXCO committee.
The first EXCO committee was headed by RHIS COLLINS AYUK as the able and first ever President of BMA, Obi Louis as Secreatary and Ngono Rosalie as Treasurer.
They worked for two (2) years .i.e. 2020 – 2022.
The present EXCO committee will work for two (2) years also .i.e. 2022 – 2024.
The present EXCO committee is made up of a president and a treasurer/financial secretary.

ABOUT MANYU DIVISION
Manyu Division is one of the administrative divisions in the Republic of Cameroon. It is located in the South-West region of Cameroon. It covers a surface area of approximately 9,565 km square and has a population of approximately 177,389 according to annuaire statistics du Cameroun 2006.
Its capital city is Mamfe.
MANYU CULTURAL HERITAGE
Manyu division has a rich cultural heritage, which cannot be passed by. Its richness in diversity range from its popular traditional dish, to the traditional regalia; and the customary dances and songs, to the peculiarity of its secret societies amongst others. These all are culminated in the perceptions that people have of the people of Manyu.
